Originally from Shueyville, Iowa, Dr. Wenger earned her bachelor’s degree from Coe College, where she was also a member of the women’s soccer team. She went on to attend the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, earning her D.D.S degree. After dental school, Dr. Wenger completed her Certificate in Endodontics at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

Dr. Wenger obtained her board certification in July 2025 and is a diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. In her free time, she enjoys playing pickleball, volunteering with her Junior League group, fishing with her dad, and cheering on Hawkeye sports.
